Bluegrass at the Fair - Colorado's long running bluegrass music festival
Folks, it's a wrap. The 28th year of Bluegrass at the Fair has come to a close. One of Colorado's most beloved bluegrass music festivals.
There was a drawing after the early-bird sales ended (May 1) and the winner of the house concert donated by the good folks from Out of Nowhere Bluegrass was Mr. Earl Nall of Florence, CO. Woo hoo!! Make sure and say hello to Earl at Bluegrass at the Fair and maybe he'll invite you to his shin dig.
The winner of the J Bovier Ukulele was Mr. John Schilling.
Each year, along with great entertainment (we have some fabulous Colorado bluegrass bands that you're going to love), Pueblo's Bluegrass at the Fair offers some of the best campground jamming. Last year's bluegrass festival was a great success and we donated a significant chunk of money to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, thanks to you. We were lucky enough to see a steady stream of new faces, along with a solid core of regulars who return year after year to Pueblo. It has become a meeting place for friends traveling from all over to enjoy music, jam late into the night, and take in some great band performances. Damian and Tom, plus all of Fireweed Bluegrass Band, are your gracious hosts for this long-running music festival. Welcome.
